Where to stay?

For those of you who are not local, East Lothian is the county of North Berwick (George’s family home) and Gullane (Laura’s family home).

The Friday evening and Sunday events are in Gullane, so we recommend that you stay there for ease. However, you could also stay in North Berwick, which is a 10 minute drive away, and where there are more hotels and Airbnbs.

Dunbar and Haddington are other big towns near to the venue, but slightly further from the Friday and Sunday celebrations, so taxis may need to be booked.

It is the month of the Edinburgh Fringe so hotels and Airbnbs will book up early, so I recommend booking ASAP.

If you do want to stay in Edinburgh then please ensure you pre-book taxis home.
